Real ceramic, real butter, real conversations. Shortcuts make for short visits.
An artist, a builder, and a small universe we’ve been trying to make real for years.
Cha has been drawing the Cha Chos — a little crew of characters with big feelings and bigger coffee orders — since long before anyone was paying attention. The world around them grew slowly: a café, a studio, a cast of friends with bad posture and good taste in music.
AJ showed up with the kind of patience required to turn a sketchbook into a lease. Together we’ve been collecting the pieces — the bar, the espresso machine, the easel in the corner, the right neighborhood — for almost three years.
We finally found a small storefront on Santa Fe Drive that felt like it had been waiting for us. So we signed the lease, painted the walls cream, and started pouring.
The Cha Chos are finally getting a home.
Real ceramic, real butter, real conversations. Shortcuts make for short visits.
Beans from neighbors. Bread from down the block. Art from the wall behind you.
We don't rush you. Don't rush us either. The good stuff takes a minute.
If you want to sit for four hours with one drip coffee, that's the plan working.
Fair to the farmer, the maker, the barista, and you.
The Cha Chos have opinions. We're keeping all of them.
